ErasData-Pro, s.r.o. has long been cooperating with the Section of Crisis Management and Civil Protection of the Slovak Republic in building a geographic information system to support the decision-making process in the field of crisis management. Within the framework of the cooperation, several specialised products have been created, which are intensively used in data collection, in the evaluation of their spatial relationships or directly in the analysis of the impact of a threat.
CIPREGIS ®
The CIPREGIS® product is a modular system that provides comprehensive nationwide geographic localization and passporting of phenomena and objects. The system is currently deployed at all levels of government - from District Offices to the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic. The system has been gradually functionally extended to cover activities where spatial interpretation and analysis of data is necessary. Its basic functions are:
- locational passporting and maintenance of objects of interest for the needs of protection and crisis management
- visualization of the selected area with the required content
- spatial and logical analyses on the territory
IZS GIS ®
IZSGIS® is a stand-alone application for the activities of 112 emergency operators in the communication and information infrastructure of the integrated rescue system. It is deployed within the information support system for the 112 emergency line reception at all operator workplaces. After receiving information about the caller's location from the mobile operator, it displays this information on a map and, based on the operator's determination of the location of the event, identifies the response district of the relevant rescue service to which the event belongs.
The system allows you to search for a specific municipality, street or address. The map documents provide operators with detailed information from the level of the whole country to the detail at the level of a single street or address at different zoom details. If required, the map can also display a list of all ongoing incidents of the relevant emergency service. Each operator can modify the map content as needed to include specialized information for their emergency response force.
FireGIS ®
The FireGIS® software application was created for the needs of process and operations management of the Fire and Rescue Department. The application has a modular architecture, which allows it to be adapted to the requirements of individual fire departments.
The system contains vector localization layers of objects of interest (fire stations, hydrants, schools, sports grounds, hospitals, railway stations, etc.), a line vector model of the road and street network of the Slovak Republic and thematic base maps (topographic map, orthophotomap). The system provides up-to-date information on the status of available forces and equipment at fire stations, allows modelling and analysis of the affected area after a chemical spill, allows analysis of spatial relationships within the affected area.
The FireGIS® product was the key application in the project "Creation of a data network ensuring the connection and flow of information between firefighters from the Republic of Hungary and the Slovak Republic", which won the 1st place in the ITAPA 2008 Award in the category Process Improvement.
